Helping groups to work together to solve complex issues can be a challenge, particularly when those groups don’t see eye to eye.

When we enter into any meeting, we are bringing with us our life and work experiences, our agendas, our biases, our hopes and our viewpoints about what should happen and how.

Designing the right kind of engagement and dialogue process can help people share perspectives and experiences, critically examine trade-offs and options, and build collective insight to be able to make better decisions.
Effective engagement is the backbone of our work at One World. Engagement is a process of working collaboratively and developing relationships based on clear and respectful two-way communication.
There can be many reasons for conducting an engagement process – to inform, to consult, to involve, to facilitate learning, to collaborate or to empower. We can help you to clarify what you want to achieve in an engagement process, how to reach the people you want to engage, and how to support effective participation in that process.
One World uses its wealth of experience with a range of approaches to design effective engagement processes. We craft each design with the outcomes and objectives in mind and in collaboration with our clients, often working with a planning group of key participants.
